I would like to say my friends and I probably have not had Roy Rogers for 30 years as they all closed down in New York. We stopped in to pick up some fried chicken. We had the family meal for $29 including tax. 8 piece meal with 2 large sides. Thechicken was really good. Imagine popeyes and KFC had a baby. The sides I can't speak so much for. We opted for the mashedpotatoes and the mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes tasted bland similar to KFC. The mac and cheese we felt was definitely on thesalty side and not much cheese flavor even though it was drenched in it.
Haven?t eaten at a Roy Rogers in over 20 years. The locations near me have all closed. The food was just as good as I remembered it along with the awesome fixings bar! The roast beef was delicious and the fries were crisp, hot and fresh. The restaurant wasvery clean and the service was friendly. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.
