Waterton Lakes Opera House

Right next to the theater, this small coffee shop offers a surprising variety of drinks and breakfast treats for such a small shop. It seemed to always have traffic in the morning; we went there twice for drinks and breakfast bagels. The service is hit or miss but generally a good recommendation.

The portions were huge, which is the only positive aspect of this place - average service (not very friendly) and difficult to deal with when a child licks their ice cream and drops it outside the exit door (which cannot be re-entered) without any napkins. It would be helpful to pack the ice cream into the cone more securely to avoid this happening in the future. Frustrating! I understand they may be busy, but there was no interaction from the staff. Next time, I will try a different restaurant in town.

Wow! If you are looking for a place to sit, relax, indulge and enjoy great music/ service, this is really where you should go. The place was packed and the waitress (who seemed to be the only one serving at the time) handled it like a pro. The vegetarian option was great! And mmmmm chipotle. and if you're not hungry but need a boost the coffee and baileys was way more satisfying then the average place!

Great place. Rustic atmosphere, very welcoming. Staff friendly. Had nachos - awesome flavour, local made salsa. Huge quantity, we couldn't eat all. Great beer. Good price. We missed the live entertainment. Would eat there again. Open kitchen concept.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff are friendly, prices are great, and the food is not fancy but delicious Mexican-American fare. The service is excellent, the music is awesome, and the atmosphere is cool and comfortable on hot days. And don't miss out on their amazing ice cream - it's the best in town!
