What User doesn't like about Pilsner Urquell Brewery:
Kind of nice but I wonder whether it was worth. The reception staff wouldn't budge and our group of 16 had to wait over an hour. Got a good freelance guide though. View all feedback.
Pilsner urquell was the first pale camp in the world and was so popular that the German form of the city name pilsner became ubiquitous all over the world and was even served by the royal please. Today we had the pleasure not only to visit the old brewery, but also the new ones before a group of us was brought into the underground tunnels for more exploration and was tested directly from the underground barrels. I'm a little regretted by reasonable descriptors, so we just say damn it, and you could totally disappear there and no one would see them for a long time in these tunnels
In contrast to many other places with intercative = only pictures) tour, they actually by old bewery and cellar where they still brew some beer in the old fashion wise to compare the quality of the traditional process with what is produced at the bew site. the money and great experience worth all! the visit of the new filling plant is quite average when you see the dinge from the far away and hard to find out what is going on
A great attraction especially for beer lovers, but those for which beer is a common drink will also enjoy it. the guide was able to describe the history of the brewery and also the process of producing Pilsen beer, which ends with a tasting of beer directly from a wooden barrel. for the price of 300czk they get a really high-quality time spent.
As a Pilsner Urquell beer lover I really wanted to take a tour in this place and well, I must admit I expected more. Tour guide was lovely person but lot of the stuff was explained by videos which she kinda talk about already. But still it was interesting to see how they made beer back in a day and visit different rooms in this facility. In summer times be prepared to take something warmer than t-shirt if you take this tour, in cellars where you also taste unfiltered Urquell and spend quite a lot of time is cold 6-9C°. Also I would have skipped beer bottling tour, it was only available in Czech and you had to download app in order to listen it in English and you can only see it from corridor trough plexiglass.
