Corner - Pilesgrove

We stopped at The Corner Bar for lunch today. If you want THE BEST DAMN CORNED BEEF REUBEN SANDWICH EVER, go visit Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am and 4 pm where I'm told that J. R. (the owner) will cook and hook you up with one!!!! Definitely 5 freakin stars for the REUBEN sandwich and the establishment all around. And Robyn is by far the BEST DAMN BARTENDER EVER!!!!

If I could give zero I would the place was filled with old men the bartender looked like she belonged on the pole. Now I'm not offended by that a hot bartender who can hustle deserves ever dime she gets. This was not this chick. I watched her walk the fairly small bar making a few drinks one in particular she licked the lime like she was filming porn and not once did she glance my way. I finally flagged her down and the evening went from bad to worse. I ordered a draft my son ordered a bottle I had finished my beer before we could get her attention to finally get him his. I could go on and on about how horrible it was but suffice to say we will not be going back ever. It used to be a cool place with good food now it's just lecurious old men there to look at the hot not qualfied bartended. Oh and btw it took so long to get our food we finally just took it to go

So if you 're not white and a female you will not get good service from this Man Chick . I forgot her name, but she has pig tails. She was rude and only paid attention to the guys that she could take advantage of. Poor service. Definitely won 't go back!

Service here is excellent. Beer selection is ok. The men's room is down right frightening like wash the soap before you use it. The food was so much better than you would expect. I love the feel of this place it's old and broken like me. Perfect spot to hang with some friends after work or to grab a quick bite. Pretty sure my wife would like it here as well however if I was trying to impress her like when we first met we would not be going here. I was there on a Saturday and they put free peanuts out in the bar and just throw the shells anywhere. I think it's a great touch and love this the most. I'm really into wings and the wings here were among some of the best I've had. Top 10 probably. Also had a liverwurst and onion sandwich and it was stacked and the rye was fresh. No doubt I'll be back! Oh and they have Tabasco sauce so extra points for that.

My coworkers after continuous harassment, finally talked me into going here. The atmosphere great. The food excellent. All the beers you could want. Service is money. They have a menu, and daily specials. I snagged a smoked brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The brisket was so good the others wanted our food instead of theirs. I shared the wham bam shrimp with another person. Damn! The shrimp was perfect. The cucumber wasabi sauce on point. Listen, if you need a place to unwind at the end of the day, this is it. Plus there's a liquor store attached to it. You can walk right into from the bar. What more do you need?
