Wi... read more Great place, have to try hard to find fault Rooms: Comfy beds; warm, with controllable temperature; bath and shower (but need to use shower sitting in bath). WiFi hotspot is free. Nearby activities: Chairlift Leisse is very close (1 minute walk). Pila village is 10 min walk downhill. Small supermarket and a few other shops). Used the Cable Car to go into Aosta a couple of times (15min journey). Good views and nice town. Food drinks: Couldn't fault the choice of food: Breakfast: cereal, croissants, toast, biscuits, ham, cheese. Bacon, sausage and eggs, but left to room temperature. Dinner: at least 6/7 courses on New Year's Eve Gala. Other nights appetiser buffet, and then 2 courses (where you have chosen between various options each morning). Italian in theme, with some regional dishes that were lovely. Noteworthy details: We were able to ski in right to the ski room door. The ski room in hotel is the best, most organised I have seen, with an allocated cage for your room.

Yes the rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable, clean sheets eve... read more Plan bois is a family run hotel. They are very friendly towards the guests. Yes the rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable, clean sheets everyday and the shower is hot and powerful. The food is fantastic they changed their chef last year which has improved the quality of the food no end. You certainly will be not go hungry as the portion sizes are large. We loved this place so much we are planning on returning in march for a late season ski!
