Wood Grill Buffet - Pigeon Forge

This place is pretty good. It wasn't horribly sticky. Bathrooms are fair. Lots of variety. The flavor is ok. The staff and servers are super nice. It's not one of those buffets that I'd pump up my buddies that they absolutely had to visit. I'd comeback. It's better than several others and fairly priced.

Wasn't very busy when we went, probably around 2-2:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Many different choices of food to pick from of all different styles. The food was good, some tasted better than other items, the fruit was excellent, tasted quite fresh. Therolls were a little hard on the bottoms, and some tasted as if they had been there a while and we're colder than others. Overwaiter was awesome, on top of things, always checking in and keeping us filled with drinks and table cleared for us. It is a bitpricey, but again has many different options to chose from. Overall I give three stars, there is some room for improvements, butwould go back.

The restaurant had a clean environment with an impressive variety of food options. The steak was my absolute favorite. The restrooms were also well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place. I should also mention that it's more affordable than other buffet-style restaurants. I will definitely return. I really appreciated their sign encouraging customers to be patient with the staff, too.

These two vegans had a delightful brunch featuring fruit, vegetables, and salad. We were pleased to find that the salad bar was available as early as 8:30 AM. Thanks to our resort discount coupon, we enjoyed one free breakfast and an additional meal for just $5.99 each, which was perfect. The staff worked incredibly hard to ensure we didn't have to wait long for our food. The food preparers were phenomenal and did their best to accommodate our needs. If you don't tip upfront, make sure to leave it on the table because they truly strive to keep you satisfied. Additionally, they have gloves and hand sanitizer available everywhere for safety. We went for dinner and found the food to be underwhelming. Much of it was fried and heavy, and it didn't cater well to allergy concerns. I did enjoy the salad bar, but the fruit options mostly consisted of canned fruit salad items. The carved meat was fatty and hard to eat. Our kids rated the experience a 7/10, while I would give it a 5/10, and my husband rated it just 3/10. I wouldn't recommend this place. Overall, I would rate the food 2/5.
