While the service is described as friendly and attentive in some instances, many diners reported delays and occasional rudeness from staff. Portions have received mixed reviews; some found the food fresh and delicious, while others felt still hungry after their meals, suggesting that portion sizes could be improved. The general consensus highlights that, despite the appealing atmosphere and certain standout dishes, the food may not justify the high prices, leaving some patrons searching for better value elsewhere.
I would recommend going to Red Lobster instead of this place. The prices were high for what we received, with no salad or bread offered with dinner. My husband's fish and chips were $18 for 3 pieces of cod that were brown inside. The shrimp he added had thick, hard breading. I ordered scallops with risotto and asparagus for $35, the scallops were delicious but the risotto was bland. Our meal, with sodas, cost almost $80 and we were still hungry afterwards. However, our server Melanie1 was great and very friendly. Overall, not a good value for the price.
The restaurant offers a military discount and has both outdoor dining with fans and indoor dining available. The bathrooms are clean with multiple stalls and sinks. There is handicapped-friendly parking and entrance. The seating is wood carved with a nice design decor. They have a large bar with friendly and quick service. The Mac and cheese could use a little less bacon and more seafood. The drinks are good and the portion sizes are generous. There was no wait on a Monday night.
Had a short wait of not even 10 minutes. Waitress was super nice. Gator bites were fresh and tasted good. We had the fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, shrimp alfredo, and the kids shrimp platter. Everything was fresh and we didn't wait long for the food to come. The fish tacos were good--a little spicy, but not overpowering. The shrimp tacos were a little on the sweet side, but good. My only complaint is the portion. The 3 of us that got tacos were still hungry afterwards. Wewould go back again.
I have visited this restaurant before and was disappointed this time. The alligator was good but the crab cakes were soggy.
Impressive building. Cool design. Welcoming atmosphere. Reservations ability a plus in pigeon forge. Friendly staff, not fake like. Option to go outside was declined by us due to a cafeteria atmosphere and noise level. Sat inside, very nice. Server âMelonyâ I believe, was prompt and pleasant. What stands out in our dining experience was definitely our server. She made us feel extremely welcome, pampered, and was very friendly. The fish n chips were amazing. The sushi rolls were good. We went primarily for the crab legs but at $72 per pound, thatâs just not logical no matter what your budget. Joeâs Crab Shack is full while yours is half empty lastnight. May want to look into data that will increase your client volume while making a reasonable profit. People are what matters. Without servers like Melony, youâre out of business. I give this a 3.5.
