What T P doesn't like about Bojangles':
My experience could have been better if the front counter staff had a sense of urgency. The cashier had to keep leaving the register to go help. It took 30 minutes for me to get my order of 3 chicken tenders, dirty rice, a drink, and a boberry biscuit.. I could understand if they were slammed with customers but they weren 't. There were only few people ahead of me. One woman had a large order and they fumbled around... View all feedback.
I stopped by this restaurant while heading to Dollywood and had the delightful experience of meeting a wonderful employee named Dylan. He was such a refreshing presence! I only stopped in for cookies, but let me tell you… those Bojangle cookies were amazing! And the chicken? My nephew and I absolutely devoured it!
The blueberry biscuits were freshly made and amazingly delicious. Add them to your order.
I’m from Michigan, where this restaurant doesn’t exist, so I’ve been wanting to try it for years, and I’m thrilled I finally did. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was definitely spicier than I anticipated. I could handle the heat, but it might be a challenge for those who aren’t used to spicy food. The fries were nicely seasoned. I would definitely come back. The restaurant had a somewhat dated look, but that didn’t bother me.
I just wanted to say that the manager Kristen, who was in service today(5/18/22), when I got my replacement combos. She was great when I called her to let her know that I would get it today and was very nice when my husband went and got it. I just wanted to say you have a great manager. Probably one of the best I've dealt with after problems. And the fact that she was in the middle of the truck and not an attitude about everything, with stop and take care of us. We need more managers out here, especially in the restaurant business. Thank you Kristen for your southern hospitality!
The food was good, but I saw something that shouldn't happen by an employee. The cashier, Gary, on the front alone, took orders and filled them. After taking our order, he started filling several orders from the others before us. A lady came and took a man's order after us, but then we never saw her again. While the commands were fulfilled, the cook was annoyed with Gary and began to curse him. I don't know why she was so angry. He continued to fill the commands, and she came into the front slamming pans down on the counter still flössing. That was at least 10 of us waiting for our orders. A big group came in and went after waiting for a while. I recommend Gary to continue to serve courtesy to customers and not allow what happened to get him. I don't know the name of the cook, but as a retired retail manager, I feel that their behaviour should be treated with it. I understand that it is hard to find people to work, but if you want good help, you should treat them with respect.
