I had the pork knuckle wh... read more Wow, what a find for a small town. A local told us about this restaurant and she wasn't wrong. The food was fresh and locally sourced. I had the pork knuckle which was excellent. It took a little more time to prepare but was worth it. The restaurant is small and cozy only 12 tables. I highly recommend reservations. Lucca, the owner was the best, very friendly and knowledgeable. He even makes his own Gin, Runway 34. If you like Gin you must try it. You can buy a bottle to take home. Excellent.

A beautiful, authentic, rustic interior, beautiful service, excellent wines by the glass and the food…WOW! Every mouthful was delicious! Highlights were the pecorini tasting plate, polpetti (out of this world) and incredible carbonara cooked perfectly. Definitely visit Sperone Nudo, Pienza, if you want to enjoy one of the best Italian meals of your life.

Here, I tasted dishes... read more Traveling to Pienza, a gem of a city nestled amidst the dazzling landscapes of Tuscany, Italy, I experienced unforgettable local flavors. Here, I tasted dishes made with 'Pici ' pasta prepared using the traditional Tuscan method. The pasta, featuring Pici noodles boasting a chewy texture much like plump udon strands, combined with black truffles (Tartufo Nero) known for their deep and rich flavor, filled my mouth with the scent of the forest. The tomato-based lasagna I ordered alongside it also offered a harmonious blend of soft, layered textures and a rich sauce. Of course, it was slightly different from the popular pasta styles I enjoy in Korea, and as I ate, the characteristic heaviness of the dish caused a slight greasiness to set in. At that moment, a sip of cold sparkling water refreshed my palate, allowing me to continue enjoying the meal. Thanks to these rustic yet heartwarming local flavors, my memories of Pienza remain even more special. It was delicious. I recommend it.

Upon entering, we received an incredibly warm welcome and were invited to choose our own table. The restaurant is small, but decorated with meticulous attention to detail. There's something interesting to discover in every corner and on every wall – you immediately feel the special atmosphere. The service is excellent, attentive, and professional. Our wine was even decanted with great care by the owner himself – a beautiful touch that made the evening even more special. The food was also absolutely fantastic: aromatic, perfectly balanced, and simply a culinary dream. We felt like we were in Tuscan gourmet heaven. Many thanks to the team for this wonderful evening. Anyone visiting Pienza should definitely not miss this restaurant – it's an absolute must!
