The... read more This lovely agriturisimo is the kind of place you really just want to keep a secret, it is that good. The lovely host, Erika, was welcoming and informative. The agriturisimo itself is authentic, comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. We stayed in the 2 bedroom flat; Il Mandorlo. The views from the outside are amazing; you look straight up towards Pienza. And the hidden gem – the restaurant – is really one of a kind. You have to try it to believe it!

Located just below the charming little town of Pienza, it’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy a lovely evening. The owner, his family, and the entire staff are absolutely delightful and so welcoming — you really feel at home here! I would come back in a heartbeat.

Beside the typical, excellent cooked local dishes we loved the hospitality and attentiveness of the owner as the waiter: nothing seemed to much and showing flexibility with a smile. If you look for high class and posh dishes, you will be disappointed. But if you look for traditional and family food, with top quality for the raw material, simplicity and genuinity then you are in the right place. Best Vin Santo ever tasted. Price is honest and being in a WW touristic attraction, absolutely correct, and in any case middle range.

Usually it is packed and just by chance we got in on a slow night! Absolutely the best meal on our trip from the food to just the overall homey feel especially the hospitality from the owner! If you are in the Pienza area even for one night make this your go-to choice but make reservations in advance! Everything we had throughout the night you could tell was made fresh! Table wine was our choice and well worth it!
