The dining experience was great. We wanted to go on Sunday to enjoy the cultural programs but couldn't make it, so headed on a Monday evening for a quiet dinner. The sauerbraten(pork steak) with semmelknödel (bread dumplings) was good. Also my almschnitzel mit schinken(ham) , tomato , mountain cheese was nice . I requested to add spätzle to the dish instead of their side on the menu , which they did but charged 1 eur... View all feedback.
All perfect! Very crowded still we managed to find a seat. Excellent service!
What a gem along the Autobahn. Nicely situated, it was the perfect oasis to pass the time with great food and drinks for the traffic to reduce. Altwirt offers a wide selection of homemade Bavarian food, speedy and friendly service, a comfortable beer garden, and, all in all, well-looked-after facilities.
Great local food and experience. We enjoyed a delicious meal, great beer in the Biergarten under the shade of tgd trees and the sound of live local music, all for a fair and honest price.
The old witstoast and the asparagus were so delicious. atmosphere and operation very nice. always happy
