What User likes about Gus's Family:
I've never been their for dinner but I'm sure it is fine. The food is solid, the portions generous, and the prices fair. The service is good and the wait staff, once they know you, have a great sense of humour. The only real caveat is it is more a 60's/70's diner than a typical PEC restaurant - run by a Greek Family (so that influences their menu). If you are looking for fine dining - drive on. read moreGus' is a locally owned family restaurant in Picton that offers a classic diner experience with generous portions and fair prices. The food is solid, service is efficient, and staff have a great sense of humor once they get to know you. While some patrons find the food too salty or lacking in variety, others appreciate the simple yet well-prepared breakfast options. The restaurant has a nostalgic 60's/70's vibe and is run by a Greek family. Overall, Gus' is praised for its friendly atmosphere, hearty meals, and old-school charm, making it a beloved staple in Picton despite some mixed reviews.
