The Bait Shop continues to occupy the front section of the building. Guests can access the restaurant's dining area from the side closest to the motel in the same parking lot. The food is quite good, offering a variety of options from sandwiches to steaks and everything in between. However, the salads could use some improvement, particularly the side salad, which consisted solely of a small portion of iceberg lettuce and a bit of shredded cheese served on a saucer-sized plate. A larger portion with added tomatoes and cucumbers would make it a more satisfying accompaniment to a meal.
