St. Louis Grill - Pickering

Had an okay experience here. Food was pretty good and waitress was friendly however at the end of the night, our waitress got a bit flustered once we paid and asked us how her service was. We explained that it was good and we appreciated her conversation. She then stated how difficult it was for her to not feel appreciated . We pressed and asked her what she meant. She mentioned gratuity and implied that we didn 't tip enough. Between my friend and I one of us tipped 15% as the other opted not to tip via card. We mentioned that we had intended to leave a cash tip and then she apologized. We later decided against the cash tip as it didn 't feel right.We understand that 15% of our bill may not have been much, but we also consider that tipping is now more complimentary in Ontario. We also did not appreciate how awkward the waitress made us feel. We understand she may have been new but this was a pretty entitled response from her, although we know she may not have meant it this way.We still love this restaurant and intend to return but we hope that this is not what we recieve at the end of the night, next time we go.

Hit or miss, sometimes the food is great, other times not so much. Last order of wing we had for take out was a miss. Some wings had a funky taste to them as if they were made from older batch of chicken that wasn’t as fresh. Have been going to this place several times because it’s the closest and food quality is very inconsistent in contrast with Scarborough and Fairview locations. For the few times we dined in, the service started to improve since our first visit where we waited 1.5 hours before the first order of all you can eat wings was delivered.

1st time going to this location and I must say the staff was really nice, placed my take out order and got my food in a timely fashion. Wings were really good as well. Will definitely be back

The food and drinks were very delicious. We did wait a while for our food but when the food came out it was very yummy. I would visit again.
