Tuesday night is chicken night, this time, at this Popeyes location. Though they have a $4.49 two-piece chicken, dark meat of course, we ordered a house special of 6-pieces, two drinks, two biscuits choice of two sides. I think we paid around $20, tax included, but I like the fact that we get 2 pieces of white meat. We dined in as we prefer newly fried chicken. The service was good, I had placed a mobile order and the person I spoke to when I arrived was nice. The chicken was terrible. I love Popeyes chicken, I have it in Markham most of the time, but I thought I would try Pickering, and the Experience was terrible. As a local of this community for over a decade , I stopped visiting this location 2 years ago. Tonight I visited in hopes that things have changed . However, their staff failed to take my order within 5 minutes of arriving despite being the next in line. There was no communication or acknowledgement during this time. Despite being 2 hours away from close , they began cooking the spicy chicken after my order was placed adding 15 minutes to this process. I would highly advise against visiting this location .
Ordered food through uber. THE WORST PART was we ordered a fish sandwich for a person who doesn’t eat meat and instead of cancelling the order, they gave us a chicken sandwich, making the assumption that this was the way to go!! they kept saying they called us to inform about this switch, but we never received any calls or messages about this! also, they didn’t include the fries, chicken nuggets, and two dipping sauces that we ordered. when we called the store, they said “oh we need to look at the cameras” instead of taking ownership of making a mistake, which would’ve made this situation at least a bit better. they hung up on us twice, making us have to call the store 3 times!! we’ve come to this location so many times over the years and the service has just become worse with each visit! one of the people who answered the phone did not listen to my question and kept repeating information about items we didn’t order. the manager Jibin (name provided during call) was not helpful at all!!! very poor service!!
This place is so cheap the lady pretended to ring up my 2 dollars off coupon and then when I asked if she did she told me yes, horrible customer service, this is around 9 pm. I looked at my debit online and she charged me regular price. These fast food places offer coupons but don’t want to apply the discounts. Don’t go to this location crooks.
I just bought a 10 piece family meal but when we got home, there were only 9 pieces of chicken in the box. Please do your job properly next time. With prices soaring for everything these days, the least you can do is to make sure we get what we paid for.
Don’t waste your time coming at this location. Seems like no one here knows how to manage this restaurant. It’s not hard to drop products especially and dinner time, every order is you have to wait. Never buying from this location anymore, there’s always a line up and the customer service is very poor. There’s no apologies either from the staff.
