This grocery store is among the best in the area. They offer a wide variety of brands for all your needs, and the quality of their products is exceptional, which is often reflected in the prices. Even though it's pricier compared to Freshco and No Frills, I still prefer shopping at Metro. The reason for my preference is the higher quality, diverse selection, and the overall shopping experience!
The grocery store was excellent—everything was fresh and neatly arranged. I would have given it a full 5 stars, but my experience with the hot food section was quite the opposite. Although the food looked appetizing, the taste was a letdown when I tried it in my car out of sheer hunger—usually, when you're starving, anything tastes good, but that wasn't true here. The food was disappointing; the macaroni and cheese was awful, and the baby carrots tasted like they were straight out of a can. Overall, I'd recommend avoiding the hot food section altogether.
The metro system is exceptionally organized and clean. My only concern is that the cell signal often seems weak during my visits, though I'm not sure why. On the bright side, they do provide free Wi-Fi as a convenient alternative!
Metro is always fantastic. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. My only complaint is about Mondays, as that’s when a lot of restocking occurs, so many items aren't available. Additionally, the soup is usually ready later than I would prefer; sometimes I need it early, but it’s not available until after 11:30, depending on the temperature. Other than that, everything is consistently good.
