Countryside Diner - Picayune

I have eaten here many times and has been hit or miss for the last 2 years or so. Tonight was a total miss. Waited 30 minutes for a drink. Finally got it after the third time I asked. My wife never recieved the fries with her quesedilla. Her quesedilla had no flavor whatsoever. I ordered the philly cheese steak poboy which was around 13 dollars and had one slice of cheese cut in half melted over an extremely miniscule portion of meat. Its convenient for the location butthe food and service has really declined. Sad to say my family and I wont be back any time soon!

I loved it and highly recommend it. It was clean. Service was good, food was good, especially the Southwest egg rolls. I had them for an appetizer but should have been my meal. It isn't on the menu that I could find but my niece told me she eats them there often because they are just like the ones at Chili's. And they definitely were. I will order them again. I really like this place because they cook your order after you order, so you do have to wait a little bit, but it'sworth it because your food is exactly how you order it plus it's HOT when they serve it. It will burn your tongue. And they have a big variety to choose from so there is something for everyone including steak. And if you don't pay attentionthey're more choices to pick from besides the menu on a board handwritten up by the register. So don't forget to check those out too. And one of their desserts is deep fried apple pie fried right then while you wait and guess what ? Theyhave ice cream too ???? You just can't go wrong here. Prices are good too. Unfortunately unless you live in the area you have to drive a ways to eat there but it's worth the drive. And they are open until 9:00PM.

A good local place that people don't know about. Try them!
