Trattoria Da Gianna - PIAZZA ARMERINA

I just love this place we were here 3 years ago and had lunch at Gianna's. After the pandemic I am so relieved that it's still there and the couple who run it are well. It's going to be closed now for them to have a holiday but if you come some other time to Piazza Armerina then I recommend it for simple but delicious home made food. I remember before I was puzzled by some reviews which said the owners were not friendly but we found the total opposite. I think if you are nice and friendly then you will get a good welcome. . It may help I have a go at speaking Italian I think locals really appreciate that. They were really sweet and we had aubergines with parmesan it was delicious and it's not expensive. It's not a fast food place. Sit in a nice little piazza have a glass of wine and don't rush. And there is a fantastic gelateria right next door!!!

Cucina casareccia, proprietari accoglienti e gentilissimi, piatti gustosissimi, rapporto qualità/prezzo nella media. Da ritornarci.

Ho pranzato in questa che definire trattoria è assolutamente riduttivo. Ambiente molto carino, personale gentilissimo (marito e moglie quest'ultima ai fornelli), i piatti tutti cucinati al momento e con materie prime di assoluta qualità. La cucina è realmente"casalinga nell'accezione più alto del termine. Ho rigustato i piatti che mi faceva mangiare la mi povera nonna. Cos'altro aggiungere? Andateci ma ricordate che in inverno l trattoria è chiusa.

Trattoria a conduzione familiare con pochi tavoli circa conviene prenotare. Atmosfera romantica in una cornice storica di Piazza Armerina. Bravissima la cuoca la sig.ra Gianna maestra nel preparare ottimi piatti tipici e gustosissimi sia di pesce che di carne, vi farà sentire coccolati...servizio a tavola impeccabile, ottimo il vino casereccio. Pezzi onesti... Consigliatissimo
