What Lars B doesn't like about La Tavernetta:
Really bad, and the staff couldn't care less. Just one example: The moussels, long time dead, were hidden in big amounts of breadcrum. Completely tasteless. There were other undefined things on the plate with mixed seafood. The pesce spada was kind of okay though. And the staff couldn't care less about everything. The mullets and the aubergine are extremely delicious
Great unpretentious seafood restaurant with very reasonable prices.

Very nice fish. Certainly not a mistake to dine there.
Perhaps the best sea food meal I had in Sicily. Amazing shrimp, amazing fish, amazing pistachio cake. An older gentleman who cooks is a treasure. After I made all these noises with every bite, a Canadian couple nearby commented 'You really know how to live . I took it as a compliment.
