It is difficult for vegetarians / vegans to go to local places and expect various vegetarian options. Especially when the menu is in Thai. This place offers amazing veggie dishes, so it is a safe bet if you don't know what it says on the menu! They even serve vegetarian meatballs that were delicious. Very recommended! View all feedback.

Couldn't find it. Map spot wrong, moved or closed? Searched quickly for it at 4:05pm on a Thursday afternoon. Then gave up and walked 1km eastward to Surat Thani Vegetarian and ate very happily there. View all feedback.
Not where HappyCow map points. Or probably moved. Anyway, one jaay restaurant is near, but seems to be open between 6.00-14.00.
There are a couple of 'jey ' (vegan stores in Surat Thani and this one is the best. For a province like this where veggie food is hard to find this one is surprisingly good! It 's typical Thai style, so expect buffet laid out food and just point to what you want. No English spoken. The selection is good though and it isn 't just standard food there are a whole load of snacks and drinks and even salapao (steamed bun things. This place will probably save the day for you in a city like this. Their opening hours are quite long and they 're open every day. It 's not exactly the nicest of places to sit but you can 't be fussy. It will be full of Thais eating too which is always a good sign.
This place is pretty good! Nothing to write home about, but tasty, nourishing food in a town without many options. I'm thankful for it, and happy to support such a place (even if it's not quite as good as Surat Vegetarian). The food quality was par for Thai jay buffets, but the selection was actually broader than I expected maybe 12 15 dishes to choose from (as opposed to the usual half dozen). I got three with no rice, and paid 40BHT. Regarding the digs, I was totally comfortable here. This is definitely not one of those fancy new vegan places that cater to moneyed travelers. It's just a normal little shop in a normal, gritty city in a relatively poor part of the world. Great family vibe, too laughing kids, chatting adults. Updated from previous review on 2017 12 27
We ate here two times and loved it. It's as some others have pointed out not the cozyest place around but we still find the atmosphere nice and genuine. Our last lunch was under 100 bath and we got super satisfied. We payed 100 anyways and left happy.
