As an Italian who travels a... read more Rating: A top culinary address in Phuket The Acqua Restaurant in Phuket is undoubtedly a first class address that is second to none. As an Italian who travels a lot in Italy and has already visited numerous three star restaurants, I can say with conviction: This restaurant is simply exceptional. The quality of the food is outstanding – from the selection of ingredients to the perfect preparation. The service is first class, attentive and professional without seeming stiff. Everything is thought out and at the highest level. For those who don't appreciate the Acqua: Maybe a simple snack stand would be a better choice. However, this restaurant offers cuisine that is truly a fine art and at a very fair price. The quality of the products and the passion that goes into every dish are worth every penny. A big compliment to the entire Acqua team! Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for culinary perfection. We fin... read more We spontaneously felt like going to the Acqua, and as soon as we greeted us we realized that it wouldn't be well received if you came over spontaneously. We finally got a table, but only until 8:45 p.m., but that wasn't a problem for us and our daughter (2 years old). Our daughter felt very comfortable, but towards the end it became clear that children are not welcome in this restaurant. To eat: We ordered the beef tartare as well as wagyu tenderloin and wagyu ribeye. Unfortunately, both Wagyu dishes came at the wrong level of doneness. One was returned and remade, but the inserts were missing the second time. When asked about this, they apologized, but unfortunately there was no further response. The three of us spent 11,500 THB (including tip) which is very sporty. In summary, therefore, the rating and the point deduction.
