Still serves a solid breakfast in the area. They have specials every weekend but I tend to get the frittata which is enough for 2-3 breakfasts. Their side salad with champagne vinaigrette is surprisingly good. Get the multigrain toast (it's from Le Bus that bakes for all the good Philly restaurants). View all feedback.
It took me over 12 years to finally step into this place, all thanks to some friends. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the parking lot, which turned out to be larger than I expected—I managed to find a spot right in front. The interior is a bit cozy, so be prepared for a wait if you don't arrive before 9 AM. The staff is very friendly and quick to serve. I found their coffee to be quite good. They also offer a nice selection of teas, so don’t hesitate to ask for their options; otherwise, you might get something more basic. They usually have a few specials listed on a board. I ordered the homemade hash omelet, and it was perfectly cooked—not too brown and well done throughout. For toast, they use LeBus (sp?), serving up two pieces of very thick rye bread that I absolutely loved. Their breakfast potatoes, however, are small nuggets with no onions, which I found a bit lackluster, but they paired well with the eggs and ketchup for me. I’m excited to try more dishes from the menu in the near future. This place is truly a hidden gem.
This restaurant has a charming small-town atmosphere. The portions are generous, and the service is warm and welcoming. Prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch.
Charming little spot filled with delightful decor. The food was classic diner fare and quite tasty. It was quite busy, which made me feel sorry for the sole server, but she remained cheerful and attentive throughout our visit.
Very good food, great friendly attentive service, and happy homey environment. Great for relaxing breakfast or lunch.
Food is very high quality down to the butter on the table. They now have dinner on Saturday evenings. Try it. I enjoy the linguine and clams.
