Sly Fox Brewhouse Eatery - Phoenixville

Sly Fox Phoenixville continues to be a favorite dinner spot for our family. Staff is awesome; we enjoy favorite beers and the laid-back atmopshere. Tonight we were time-pressed after sports- and I was missing a crucial ingredient to make dinner- so we headed there late. Lo and behold, a special was on the menu- Mediterranean Salad. This was seriously the best thing I’ve eaten in years of going there. Superbly grilled chicken, roasted chickpeas, balsamic onions, roasted red peppers, feta, etc on romaine- with an A lemon-tahini dressing. The rest of my family could eat whatever fried pub food they wanted, while I enjoyed every bite of this salad with zero complaints from them. Please keep the stellar salads coming. Absolutely amazing been going here since I was a kid and it never disappoints

In my opinion, a pub that closes at 9 PM on a Friday night deserves only 2 stars. It seems they see themselves more as a restaurant than a pub, even though their primary business is a microbrewery.

Just stopped in here while i waited on my car, i sat at the bar. The food came quick and the drinks were fare. The wings were pretty good i got them with the Helen sauce which has a kick. The cheesesteak was really good for a restaurant, it doesn’t give pizza shop cheesesteak but it does the job i was not disappointed.

Ten minutes later, our server, who we realized was also the bartender, finally brought our food along with a very unpleasant attitude. She chastised us and implied that we were exaggerating our wait time, mentioning that there were “other people here, not just you,” suggesting that we were being unreasonable for inquiring about our meal. My husband opted not to argue but simply expressed that we wanted to ensure we hadn’t been overlooked, given that we had been waiting for almost an hour and a half. She didn’t apologize or acknowledge that she may have forgotten us; after all, it’s usual for servers to check in with their tables and offer another round of drinks while waiting for food. Instead, she reluctantly comped my husband a beer. We quickly finished our meal and left. Given the many excellent dining options in Phoenixville, there’s no reason to choose this one when the service is so lackluster on a relatively quiet evening. Save yourself the trouble and explore one of the other great restaurants in town.
