Was Anonym at Vecina a mag?
Everything was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. I do think the guacamole could use some improvement, and the chicken was a bit too oily for my taste. However, the ceviche and lake bass were delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a beautiful view. They offer indoor seating, high tops, and outdoor options. Parking is free at the front, but it's somewhat limited. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Vecina:
We were really looking forward to trying Vecina after reading the reviews, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. We ordered takeout, and the salmon tacos and quesadilla were excessively oily, with a pool of oil collecting at the bottom of the box. The ribeye, which was meant to be cooked medium well, was so charred it was inedible. The skirt steak tacos were tough as well. Perhaps dining in the restaurant mi... View all feedback.

Incredible food! We tried several appetizers and they were all fantastic. The ribeye was the highlight of the menu—it’s the best main dish I’ve ever had. Every bite was delicious, and this ribeye surpasses anything from the best steakhouses around. The banana bread dessert was the most amazing dessert I’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional too; with each dish they presented, they provided detailed explanations. We're eagerly looking forward to our next visit!
Have been a regular since they opened. An awesome little gem in the heart of Arcadia. Great food and cocktails, thoughtful presentations and delicious recipes. If your in town visiting, make sure to add this to your list of stops.
Venturing into Vecina restaurant in Phoenix 's Arcadia neighborhood was a journey of culinary delight that ignited our palates. Commencing with the Divergent Paths cocktail, an artful fusion of Mezcal, Rum, amaro, carpano, and vanilla harmoniously balanced and steeped in character. Transitioning to the culinary dishes, two favorites emerged the White Bean Purée adorned with crispy short ribs, herb salad, and a tortilla, and the Karaage adorned with Aji Amarillo, Citris Gastrique, and Togarashi. These starters, were abundant in satisfaction, showcasing the culinary prowess that Vecina embodies. As a standout gem in the Arcadia neighborhood, Vecina effortlessly earns its place among the neighborhood’s best, a testament to its flavors and its unforgettable embrace of indulgence.
I went for happy hour but ordered a couple of things off the regular menu as well. The salsa trio and the papas verde were fantastic! My friend had the skirt steak tacos and enjoyed them. I went with the special (a pork dish) and it was so good! The spicy margarita off the happy hour menu was also a home run. I feel like the limited menu is one reason all the dishes were so good. The service was great, as our waitress was very nice and super helpful in making recommendations. The restaurant is small but it's a cute vibe.
A group of us from work gathered at this restaurant and decided to order a variety of dishes to share. Everything was fantastic! Our selections included the White Bean Puree, Papas Verde, Shaved Brussel, Elite, Charred Broccoli, Smoked Half Chicken, Skirt Steak Tacos, and for dessert, the Concha. This place is definitely perfect for sharing and having fun exploring the wonderful array of flavors in each dish.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience! Our server, Juan, was fantastic, and the drinks were great. Every entrée we tried was delicious, including the Brussels Salad, Romaine Salad, Empanada, salmon tacos, pork belly tacos, and ceviche. Each dish was unique and unlike anything we've had before. You’re really missing out if you don’t give this place a try. We can’t wait for our next visit!

I have nothing to criticize; everything was perfect. The service, the food, the atmosphere, and the presentation were all outstanding. The menu features tapas-style dishes. We tried the Karaage, pork belly tacos, the special of the day—tostada—and the banana bread dessert. The Karaage was our favorite, followed closely by the tostada. A huge shoutout to the chef and the staff. It was worth every penny!
Definitely a great restaurant to keep coming back. Amazing food, great personalized service, unique environment with great Camelback mountain views. Plenty of parking. We will be back for more!
My husband and I love this place! It is by far one of the best places to dine in the Phoenix area. We are regulars and go fairly often and we've introduced some friends who are now also regulars. The food is always amazing, especially the banana bread.Their bartenders make really excellent drinks and the happy hour menu is really inclusive!

The level of the gun is just right for Karaage! The bread comes with mussels could have removed salt as the whole dish is already very savory. I tried the salmon taco, but I had better. The texture of the Lachstaco is a little clear. Elote (Mexical corn) tastes pretty heavy. Still, highly recommend the carats and mussels! Great service and good mood.
We went to Vecina to celebrate 3 birthdays. Our intention was to do a bit of bar hopping, but we enjoyed setting and eating so much, we landed there for the whole evening. The food was amazing! We usually split plates, but a highlight that I recommend is the muscles great taste with some spices (as it contains jalapeños), which they really have to a new level of delicious! Grace was an amazingly friendly server that offers great recommendations, I am particularly pleased with their wine proposals. Overall, a very nice evening spent and I definitely recommend checking it.
I have nothing to write. It was perfect. The service, the food, the ambience, the presentation were all top notch. The food is tapas-style. We ordered the Karaage, the pig bell Tacos, the Tostada, which was the special of the day and the banana bread Dessert. Karaage was our favorite and the tostada a short second. Full supplements to cook and staff. It was worth every penny of our money.
