Today was my wife for the first time and I've ever been to an Uncle Sam. We saw the ad in a “Best Philly’s in Phoenix” article and decided to try it. Everything was really good, but especially our server Ayla, she heated the entire experience and had no problem going through the menu and answering our questions before we ordered. The restaurant and food was great. Uncle Sam's always does a wonderful job! What ruined everything was the driver. He parked illegally in front of my garage, which made it impossible for my girlfriend and the rest of my neighbor's to gain access to their garages. This is one of my favorite dive restaurants in Phoenix. The staff is lovely and the food is always crave-worthy. Wings and cheesesteaks are top tier! Fried mushrooms are addictive.

Placed order since 10am. I got a call saying that some of the food I placed an order for ran out. I asked for a refund after they offered me alternatives but they said it couldn’t be refunded since I paid online. I also received my order 13 minutes later, wouldn’t be a huge deal, but I ordered it at 10am! I’ve had issues before. But this time I had company and wasn’t a fan.

Cool place. Not fancy, but lots of character. Great lunch with a beer spot. Lots of variety on the menu.
