Description

Tucked inside the airport, this casual pizzeria and bar offers tasty pies and a few standout dishes, but inconsistent kitchen timing, high drink prices and uneven food quality undermine the experience. Service varies from attentive to painfully slow—orders have taken 45+ minutes—making it a poor choice for tight layovers. While some diners rave and plan to return, others report dry sandwiches and even food‑safety issues. Best for travelers willing to linger and pay a premium; not ideal for value- or time-conscious customers.

The pizza was enjoyable, and the service was satisfactory. However, I feel like they really take advantage of you with the price of a glass of white wine. There is absolutely no justification for charging $22.00 for a regular-sized glass of wine! I would be embarrassed to charge that amount anywhere. Honestly, I'm sad about the experience, and I definitely won't be returning.

We tried the This Lil FIggy pie, and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the mussels with pon frites, and he really enjoyed it. We will definitely return! I do wish I had been offered a special dessert, but since we were so full, it didn’t bother me too much. We visited the Gilbert location on Friday, June 24th, at 5 PM. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress; she was blonde and had a beautiful face, though I think there were a few girls who looked similar! I will definitely recommend this place to my neighbors at Ashley Park in Chandler.

My wife and I shared a BLT with fries. Unfortunately, the sandwich was quite dry and had minimal bacon and other toppings. We understand that airport food tends to be overpriced, but we really wish the quality had been better.

After an amazing week in Mexico, enjoying delicious dishes like octopus, lobster, and fresh oysters, I had the misfortune of getting seriously ill after eating a BLT at Humble Pie in the Phoenix airport. Though I managed to make my connecting flight back to Oakland, I spent the entire journey feeling incredibly unwell. By the time we landed in Oakland, I was in such bad shape that my boyfriend had to call for an ambulance to take me to Kaiser. They provided fluids for my severe dehydration and several medications to help me recover. They even performed blood tests to rule out any illness from Mexico. Fortunately, it wasn’t anything I picked up there; it turned out to be food poisoning from Humble Pie. I understand that incidents like this can happen, and it's possible I could eat there again with no issues. However, I will never forget this dreadful experience. So, I have to say no thank you.

We arrived to find no hostess available to seat us. The grill was out of order, which limited the menu options. We experienced a long wait for both seating and food service. The prices were also excessively high. We won’t be returning to this restaurant.
