Everything is p... read more The food was outstanding, the portion sizes were just right, and the prices were in line with what you'd anticipate for this type of restaurant. Everything is prepared fresh, and the fish is delivered daily. I highly recommend making a reservation, as the wait can be lengthy without one.

(Like most places do these days) The evening flowed so nicely. It does take some time for things to get to the table, but highly recommend going to just enjoy the environment and food with plenty of time and ease. The waitress was so thoughtful, even before finding out we were there for my birthday. Once she did, I felt the special attention even more! She gave me a great recommendation, and offered that if I wasn't perfectly satisfied that she would help me find the perfect dish. I was so pleased, and the food was next level!

Started off with a fresh loaf of their French bread complimenting a house salad with the best creamy vinaigrette dressing I ever had and not even close! Next had the large order of Cajun shrimp and chicken with the largest loaded baked potato I have ever seen. Only ate two thirds of it due to how large it was. My friend had the pasta, shrimp and crab with a creamy wine sauce that he said was great as well. There was so much food we had two containers taken home due to fact we couldn't finish. Atmosphere was very southern Louisiana and the courtyard was beautiful with the large pond. If you decided to stay outside they did have the misting machines operational to combat the heat. Bar drinks were very refreshing and complimented the meal. Service was top notch and our waitress gave us each a free after dinner coffee which was a nice surprise. Have to get a Pappadeaux in Minnesota so I can go more often! Had an excellent time.
