Unique food! We planned to visit Wren House Brewing and wanted to bring some food along. We came across Pa' La and are so glad we discovered it! My husband ordered a sausage sandwich and I had their vegetarian sandwich with fennel. So delicious!
Fabulous local kitchen in a former house. minimalist decoration with artistic touches and rustic terrace. we had a chalk bowl with sardelle and veggie sandwich all delicious. this restaurant feels like eating in a good friend house that is also a cook!
Rugged and unique Mediterranean aromas penetrate. they pamper the carefully curated seafood. casual eclectic interior, superior service and enthusiasm for the kitchen.
Great spot where you can eat healthy but I wish the lighting was a little more romantic lighting was very harsh it would be great to have soft lighting indoors to make this more of a date night spot
My husband proclaimed at the end of dinner that he liked this place more than Chez Panisse! Now, look, he 's wrong, Chez Panisse is Chez Panisse. All that said, the parallels are clear. It 's best experienced through its prix fixe menu, the food is primarily local, and cooked over wood fire (there 's no other form of cooking at pa 'la). The space is cool, the waiter friendly (love you Randy) and the food is near perfect. They served us Japanese eggplants so good I could 've cried. I 'll confess, the fish course was too salty for my tastes, but not so salty that I 'm not looking to return. For this long term sub, Pa 'la has become my new favorite special occasion restaurant a Chez Panisse that Arizona educators can afford! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid friendliness: This is a restaurant for adults
