The food is excelle... read more Although we live just a few miles away on 7th St, we only tried this place for the first time yesterday and realized we’ve been missing out! The food is excellent and offers a great variety at fantastic prices. The dining room is spacious and there's additional outdoor seating, which we’ll have to try during a visit in a non-summer season! The waitress mentioned that they serve prime rib on Thursdays, which will definitely entice us to return. She also said they have $5 breakfast specials on weekdays.

I've tried a lot of their food and it never disappoints, they have everything from custom flavored waffles to any size of chicken fried steak you'd like. And speaking of chicken fried steak; it's probably the best menu item they have! So tender and warm, always cooked perfectly. The wait time can be a little annoying depending on the day, sometimes you got to wait out there for 20 minutes. But the wait is worth it for sure! Sometimes the seats can have crumbs but other than that the store is super clean. They also have a lot of seating, (one wall full of booths, including a curved booth in the corner which can fit about 5-10 people, bar seating which can fit about 6 people, another wall full of booths, and a room full of tables and booths.

The BLT was on point and I always ask for crispy bacon. They cooked my bacon to perfection and the tomatoes were so fresh. The sandwiches weren’t so big you couldn’t get your mouth around them but the servings were generous. Theservice was fast and Liz, our waitress was so friendly and extremely attentive and personable. The restaurant was clean and thedecor very retro. If you haven’t tried Blue Moon Cafe you must. Just good food at good prices with excellent service
