The views from the restaurant are amazin... read more Wonderful and disappointing at the same time. My family and I dined at A Different Point of View the evening of Easter. The views from the restaurant are amazing! This makes dining here worth the experience. I wish the food and service would have matched the atmosphere. The restaurant offered an Easter special, starting with a variety of deviled eggs, which were great. Next was a soup of corn purée and chorizo, which was superb! The entree featured a pork tenderloin. It had to have been cooked to 180 degrees and was extremely dry. Our waiter’s explanation was that is how the kitchen chose to cook the whole tenderloin…that was it. My wife ordered a glass of wine with her entree that never arrived. I ordered the featured old fashion and found it bitter. Despite voicing my displeasure with the cocktail and not finishing more than a few sips, the glass stayed in front of me for my entire dining experience. The Easter special came with a carrot cake dessert. It was delivered to the table and 20 minutes later the rest of the table was asked if we wanted to see dessert menus. At that point, we were ready to leave. There was a solid half after we finish our entrees when our server seemed to disappear. Other table entrees included the sea bass and filet, which were both excellent. Overall, this is a good restaurant with a great view. We were hoping for greatness across the board.
