Th... read more It has been years since I was in Cocos, and I have to say everything about the restaurant is positive. I walked in my partner and we were seated immediately. The waitress was polite and efficient. I had the Brioche eggs Benedict and my partner had thetomato basil omelette with pancakes. Excellent. There were people in the restaurant. It wasn't crowded, and I was able to havea pleasant conversation with my partner and not have so much noise, around me, that it was difficult to hear. Yes, people werecoming into the restaurant as we stayed to finish our coffee. The atmosphere was nice, the waitress excellent, the food good,and the company I kept was excellent. I recommend that people remember a solid, old time, restaurant that still providesquality.

Our waitress, Gina, is absolutely fantastic! She remembers our drink orders and often predicts what we'll want for dinner and dessert. It's pretty impressive! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the music is fantastic—mostly 80s and 90s hits! Don’t forget about Free Pie Wednesdays! If you have the chance, come in and let Gina take care of you. You won’t be disappointed!

The waitstaff, both the waitress and the waiters, were really nice and provided great customer service. But let me tell you, the food was absolutely AMAZING—I'm not exaggerating! The bacon was crunchy, the eggs were fluffy, and the French toast was delicious. Overall, it's the best place to eat breakfast. Plus, the lady who served me was really friendly and even asked me about my grade.

Next, you're hit with a mix of sensations from the worn upholstery on the massive half-circle booths, the dirty black carpet, and the shabby (definitely NOT chic) furniture. I remember visiting this place years ago for a late-night coffee and pie with a date, and the only noticeable change since then has been the removal of a long counter and a row of low stools. Some might find the lack of modernization charming, while others may consider it quite off-putting. Personally, I see it as adding character. The food and service are decent overall, but the clientele tends to skew older, with plenty of senior patrons engaging in what I like to call "sleep-eating." My suggestion for this aged and worn establishment is to invite Ty Pennington for an Extreme Makeover: Coco’s Edition, as it could definitely benefit from a refresh.
