Christo's is at least a twice a month choice for me and my partner. Their food is absolutely unmatched, their service is amazing, and the environment is always so welcoming. Their soup and salad with every entre is brilliant and the home made dressing should be bottled and sold. Their lemon rice soup is the absolute best, and no matter what: get a side of the gnocchi. Mike is the guy! Sit at the bar or a table in the bar area during the day. He gets it. Mike brings that service. Hand makes our cocktails. Takes our orders by memory. And accommodates the special requests. It 's a do not miss situation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
This place is fantastic. I would give it more than five stars if I could. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming the moment we walked in. With a one-year-old in tow, it can be rare to receive such warm greetings at restaurants, so we were immediately relieved. The atmosphere is very nice, not overly formal but still classy. I didn't feel judged or out of place wearing a polo, jeans, and a diaper bag. Our server, Kat, was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us, making excellent recommendations that enhanced our experience. The menu is not extensive but offers a diverse selection of appetizers that are all delicious. The portion sizes are just right, and I must say, the pasta dish I had (Pomodore with grilled chicken) was sincerely the best I've had outside of Italy. I have been thinking about it all day. They even had my favorite Italian beer, Peroni, which was a nice bonus. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Italian food, this place is a must-visit. I'm disappointed it doesn't have a five-star rating across the board.
My friends and I always like to try new restaurants during restaurant week. This week happened to fall on the week of my birthday and we were in the mood for Italian food. We used to frequent Tomaso's, but it seems like they may have closed down. This new spot has become our favorite now, even my Italian husband who is very picky loved everything he ordered from the menu - Caprese, Caesar salad, tiramisu, and Veal Braciole. I tried the veal meatballs, tiramisu, and jumbo shrimp which were all delicious. The lemon drop and manhattan cocktails were great too. The only downside was that we received our wine immediately after ordering our other drinks with no time in between. I also ordered the soup of the day and was served the salad instead, but the server was so kind that it didn't bother me much. Overall, it was a cozy place and the food was fantastic!
