The owner is always super nice and sweet. she always talks to you. Everyone that works there are super nice and friendly. Food is always so yummy and good quality and it’s made fresh everytime you order it. I always get a mix of fajita chicken and steak and salad and rice and beans. The hubby gets a mix of fajita ground beef and steak everything else the same as me. My son got the gumbo chicken and cheese quesadilla... View all feedback.
What Rob Ripley doesn't like about Margarita's Mexican Grill And Cantina:
Staff were very accommodating and friendly! Attentive and service was quick.Complimentary chips and salsa were great; salsa tasted wonderful and chips were warm!Main meals were not flavorful, or what the descriptions sounded like. Was not like any Mexican meals we had eaten before elsewhere. Meats seemed underseasoned, steak was mostly grissel, tons of iceberg lettuce, enchilada sauce seemed more like tomato sauce.Wa... In my opinion this is the best Mexican food around and I tell her all the time she needs to build another one or move hers up where I live at. Me and my husband use to eat there a lot when we lived in Philippi so we moved out of state and everytime we’re in town we stop here.

Got the burrito California, had a half inch of water in the bottom of the pan like they warmed it up from the day before... Burrito wrap was soggy and uncooked, so was the chicken and beef. They are going to kill somebody at this rate
I eat, and have eaten, a great deal of Mexican food. I spent 6 years in the American South West and enjoyed various styles of TexMex and authentic Mexican foods. The food here was bland. The burrito my wife and I had was flavorless ground beef. No hint of traditional spice. My wife's chicken burrito was also sadly void of flavoring. The refried beans were pasty, as if from a can, and also lacking of flavor. The rice was orange. It was ok. The grilled jalapenos I had were not spicy. I've had spicier crushed black pepper. If I'd been served packaged frozen burritos it would have been more satisfying to the taste buds. The next time I wish to eat terrible Mexican food, I'll choose Taco Bell! Please don't thank me for this review as you've done on other reviews. It seems, over a five year period, serving bland, tasteless food has been a recurring theme on other reviews.
Excellent place to eat great food and just hang out
