Vietnam Express - Philadelphia

I placed a takeout order for pho, but when I arrived, the young girl at the counter informed me that they were out of pho. She claimed she had tried to call me, but that was clearly untrue as there’s no record of a call from them.

I ordered the bark plate, but it didn't come with any rice. When I called the restaurant for assistance, they were unhelpful. The bark was tasty, but it's the first time I've encountered a restaurant forgetting to include rice with such a dish. Thankfully, Grubhub was able to help me, as the restaurant did not take responsibility for their mistake.

I really liked the restaurant but wished they took a few more safety precautions. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza with the spicy sauce, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! Whoever came up with that recipe deserves a shoutout. The thin crust was on point, and I can't get enough of that pizza! I also tried the fries, but they were nothing special. However, that pizza? I need to have it again!

I had the chicken **** (vermicelli) for the takeout and I was impressed that this was so tasteful and a little juicy. it is a bit more expensive that other Vietnamese places close.

Outstanding location for Vietnamese food. Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. Service is consistently good.
