I don't know why this restaurant averages less than four stars. We finally tried it and loved the tandoori chicken and butter chicken (which due to my allergies they made dairy free)! Would definitely come back and refer others! View all feedback.
Love Tiffin since I first discovered on Girard so many years ago. They deserve the chain they've established, although I'm bummed some of the original recipes have been modified to suit the masses. Progress it is, and I'll still swing by here n there. Many Kudos always and as far as food goes, you're not getting the original, but the food and the people are still excellent.

This was my first time eating drone here and The food is amazing I really love it tbh I enjoyed it The chicken was soft and tender, and the veggie were crispy.
This is a very well spread out chain (literally, they're all over the Philly region at least 10). What makes them cool is that they serve their takeout in reusable heavy plastic containers, and honestly, that is a huge reason to order from them. The only problem is then you have to return them, and despite being less than 2 blocks from them, I find it still takes me a week to do that. Their food is decent. It's very sweet and some of it tastes exactly the same to me (butter chicken and tikka masala), but maybe that's my uncultured swine side coming out. They definitely have like 5x the sauce ratio to the protein, which is slightly annoying, but I just put chickpeas in the leftover sauce the next day with my own rice, and all is forgiven. Be careful with the spice levels. Mild is very mild so we tended to get medium, but one time we got that, and we kneeling before hell's gates the whole time we were eating it. It was a near death experience, but I'll keep going back because it's affordable (especially with the lunch specials), close and eco friendly!
I love tiffin. My husband and I are regulars and the food is always delivered hot and a good quality and at a quick delivery speed. Sometimes the samosas can be a little drier or more oily, but still delicious nonetheless. What 's considered 'medium ' or 'hot ' spice level can vary, so that has made it tough to eat my meal at times still declious, just too spicy for me sometimes! This small local chain delivers the Indian you hope to get when you want takeout on a Friday movie night.
