We arrived at the Victoria Free House feeling tired and hungry. We were warmly welcomed by Taylor, our delightful server. Since it was Tuesday, the phrase "Tuesdays with Taylor" felt quite fitting. The drinks were excellent, and the food lived up to the expectations set by the venue. The service at this restaurant was quite poor. The waiter seemed almost disinterested. We had to ask for assistance multiple times, even though there were only a few other customers present. The food was just average. I won't be returning. View all feedback.
Really nice British pub. It's a Liverpool supporters bar and they play every game but they also open early for other Premier League games as well as some of the other bigger Euro, and Union games. Tons of English beers and ciders on tap and bottles. Good pub food, the fish and chips were great. I'm definitely coming back here to watch more games.Vegetarian options: Vegan burger and fries.
Food is fantastic! Lots of great drafts. If you love English pubs, this is a must in Philly!
I had a Sausage Roll for an appetizer. Dinner was a Steak and Bacon Pie. Both were very tasty. To drink I started with Tellamore Dew on the rocks and finished with a 10oz Magners Apple Cider at Happy hour pricing.
Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, good food. Would go here again! Only picture I took is of oink eggs and a pink drink!
It's a nice British pub. The deep dish toast pizza (Welsh Rarebit) was very flavorful. Their steak pie and chips are perfectly cooked and filling as well. The bartender who greeted and sat me was great. Only downside was it took forever to get my check I asked a separate bartender (the only person working in the room) and he worked behind the bar for about 15 minutes before getting the check. I'll chalk it up to a staffing issue, the food is worth coming back for.
