I was in desperate need of some soul food, and to my dismay, my regular spot was closed due to “technical difficulties.” I decided to search for “soul food near me” on Google and came across Savory Meals. I had completely forgotten about them! I quickly placed an order for pickup, and just 20 minutes later, my food was ready, exactly as they promised. After grabbing my takeout, I hurried to my car for a quick taste test. Let’s just say I ended up parked there, devouring half of my meal. I was absolutely not disappointed. I'll definitely be back!

The food was absolutely incredible—everything was flawless. This is the best soul food I've had in a long time, packed with flavor in every bite. The fish and chicken were fried to perfection, achieving that perfect crispy texture. The macaroni and cheese was bursting with flavor and soul, and the candied yams had just the right amount of sweetness.

I’ve found my new favorite spot for soul food! The wings, mac and cheese, and yams were incredibly flavorful. The greens were a bit tough for my taste, but they were still delicious. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

I love her cooking! Everything is made to order—nothing is pre-packaged or frozen. The ingredients are freshly cut, including the fish, and the burgers are handmade. She started selling her dishes from her kitchen, and I was a regular customer back then. Now she has opened a restaurant front, and you should definitely check it out. The food is absolutely delicious, just as it was from day one!
