Went in the expectation to eat fries was pleasantly surprised over all vegan option. they were super good at affordable. also they have great beer.

It has this southern philly sportable vibe that is really mine. but their vegan eating is actually quite good. if they are looking for vegan bar food, I would not recommend this place really over triangle tavern, which is like a block away. pope has vegan kartoffels, and they are really good.

I made a drink. nice of them. the food was served quickly and was good. I'd go back there.

My favorite place in south philly. big beer, great food, great people. I am here like 3 times the week. pete and dennis (owners/bartender) are super cool. the chicken sandwich, pop burger and wing in pete’s sauce are the kiss of the cook.* also I was never really one to order chicken fingers, but I get them all the time here because they are particularly good. I love pope!

This place has good food. it is unpretentious and friendly with a really good, creative menu. I have the beet salad that came in beautiful thin slices. When I asked about one of the garnishes, the chef came out with a small rehearsal and talked to me about it. it seems that the personal here are passionate people in a really cool situation. I can't wait to go back.
