While the food and service were consistently praised, some customers found the portions too small for the prices. The noise level in the small space can be high, but the skillfully prepared dishes and friendly staff make it worth a visit. Customers recommended trying the dinner special ravioli and lemon cream dessert, but warned that the carbonara and scampi specials may not be up to par. Despite some mixed reviews, many diners expressed a desire to return to this BYOB restaurant for its unique dishes and welcoming atmosphere.
They believe their friends who are sorrowed. an Italian experience. who left a critique, who said: “It’s too loud” or “Service wasn’t fast enough” did not rise up in an Italian household or was never around an Italian family. the environment of porcini is rare to come at these days, sit back and enjoy. eating is fantastic and the portion size is always on the point. everything I had here was amazing. they will not be disappointed by this small Italian venue.
Small local uplifted mood. amazing eating, friendly staff and the owner/manager is so personal. the eating was delicious (tiramisu is a must) and they can hear the staff in the kitchen occasionally joking round or singing, I would say there is more of an Italian authentic feeling! great place for a second or third date or if they have friends in the city who need a homemade Italian meal!
I haven't been there in quite awhile, but my return visit was well worth it. The food was very tasty. Highly recommend Porcini
Thoroughly enjoyable. Fine food. An excellent small restaurant well located and well operated.
Food and vibe is good… just remember it’s a byob. Utensils were not served clean enough which is a problem. Really love the dessert tho
