Old City Beer Garden - Philadelphia

We are in town from Minnesota for a friend's wedding the the Old City Beer Garden happened to be about a block away from our AirBnB. Our first bartender Kelsey was absolutely freaking amazing! I have literally never had service as good as she provided. When she left after her shift, JuJu was out new bartender and was pretty damn great as well! I will be in Philly again and this will be the only place I go to for some fun and some drinks. Thank you so very much Kelsey, we can't wait to hang out with you again!!!

The bartender at this restaurant was extremely intoxicated and behaved inappropriately, throwing around debit cards and IDs. When he lost a friend's ID, instead of helping to find it, he screamed in her face. He then proceeded to shout homophobic slurs and throw liquor at our group. This was a truly ridiculous experience, especially considering it was the first bar we had visited that night. As someone who doesn't usually leave negative reviews, I was shocked by the bartender's behavior and urge him to get himself together.

Just the drinking experience I was looking for - outdoors, not too busy.

The restaurant offers a great selection of drinks, including bottles and cans with a focus on beer. There is a fun outdoor space with ample room for activities, including cornhole and basketball hoops. The service was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.

Cool outdoor place on Market St. Good music and vibe. Dropped in for a couple pops on a warm night.
