The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is on point! I had the bistro bella, sweet potato fries and carrot ginger lemonade Then I took some sweets, to go! I must say they are doing everything right! Waiting for hip city veg to come to Atlanta I highly recommend this place for vegans, vegetarians or carnivores. Trust me, you'll love it!!!! What Bri K doesn't like about Hipcityveg:
Love the sweet potato fries but every time I order them from this location, it is literally a big ball of mush : ' no crispies! If you are employed there please let me know how to get around this! View all feedback.
Only 4 stars overall becuase the price of the food makes it a delicacy. The food is delicious. Dont go buying this for lunch everyday, unless your in the mid to high 6 figures and you dont have any family lol.Food: 5/5
Great place to hang out and have lunch or eat something before going to the movie theater, deliciously made and great portions.Food: 5/5
The food is great, vegan fast food. It isn 't very healthy, so don 't expect weight loss if you go frequently. If the seating was better, the atmosphere would get a 5 star rating from me but I 've been patronizing this restaurant for at least 10 years and they have the same seats. It shows! Their seats are torn as if Edward Scissorhands stumbled his way to the counter and back out the door. They have a great new sign, but their dine in customers have to sit on torn vinyl seats. Insert eye roll. Now, back to the food. The menu has been consistent over time, but the output is less let 's stand out as a vegan go-to spot and more, let 's dress up Morningstar burgers, etc) . Nevertheless, for vegan fast food, this is worth a try.Vegetarian options: Vegan so automatically vegetarianKid-friendliness: Kid friendly menuParking: About 20 spots on the street. Spots around the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: Persons in wheelchairs can enter the restaurant. However, the door is not automatic. The door opens out toward the sidewalk.
I have been a huge fan of hip city veg for going on near 10 years now, I’ve put my family and friends on to their food and they are big fans now too! I think most of their food is solid, but I like most, I have my faves. They’ve recently changed their menu and I was nervous but figured I would try the new items. I was not expecting for so much to be removed from the menu, I HATE when restaurants get rid of items. Usually they are not replaced with anything that can live up to the legacy. Not wanting to be a stick in the mud, I gave the new items a chance and was put off. The mushroom blooms were incredibly greasy and lacked any real flavor. The bottom of my bag literally looked like I dropped a bottle of water on to it. I actually got scared that I had somehow spilled juice inside of it. Still, I tried some and couldn’t even finish them. Texture was bad and it was just a mouth full of of grease. I paid money to pitch them right in the trash. Green goddess dressing was meh, nothing could mask the awful taste of the mushrooms.Unfortunately, they no longer have their taco salad or their Caesar salad. Tbh I don’t think I will head to hip city nearly as often as I did before unless I happen to want some lemonade or a milk shake. If I want something fresh and plant based I will head anywhere else.Vegetarian options: It’s a vegan restaurantDietary restrictions: Gluten free options and everything is dairy free
My burger was hot and made well. The sweet potato fries didn 't seem fresh cooked . Counter staff seemed new and unfamiliarFood: 4/5
