We booked the NYE experience which was a pre fixe menu. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we were presented with a pre fixe menu that was completely different from the one they advertised on Open Table the one on OT was last years… They were kind enough to adjust the price of our meal because the price was more expensive that the meal advertised for last year $85 vs $75 , but my boyfriend noticed their tax calculation... My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious. We sampled lamb, nut sprouts, chicken fried rice, calamari, Spanish octopus, and steak with truffle sauce, and every single dish was outstanding. Our server was very attentive and humorous, and it was clear he was engaged with us—he even broke a sweat running back and forth to the table. We had a minor issue with one of the dishes, but he promptly resolved it. The decor inside is charming, and the live DJ added a nice touch. The music was perfectly balanced—not too loud, so we could easily chat, but just the right volume to enjoy singing along occasionally. I will definitely return, not only for the food but to soak in the great atmosphere.
The ambiance was nice and the service was good, but the food was only average at best, and the prices on the bill were higher than those on the menu. Overall, I would consider returning, but I would be more selective about my choices next time.
I highly recommend this place! The food, service, and music all deserve five stars! I absolutely loved it!
I went for brunch on Sunday, and the fried French toast was delicious! I'm looking forward to returning on a Friday or Saturday.
