*updating: I returned today to order the Broccoli bites again. I asked again if these bites were vegan. Although they make a vegan version, they are cooked in the same oil as the other options, so it can be a light mix with ice and milk. Unfortunately, the bites for me now become a no-go for * big staff, and I am glad that I was able to support a business in reading terminal. I wish I could have been sitting there right away to eat it, but I had to take my food home for the pandemic. the poutin smells fabulous when I got it, but it was okay when I had it home. it can't heat well. the Broccoli bites were fabulous...go-figure. I highly recommend trying them and I will support them again.
This restaurant offers a menu that is entirely gluten-free. They also have a delicious vegan corn dog on offer, along with great cheese curds, fries, and funnel cake. It might be a bit difficult to make vegan cheese curds, but it would be a great addition to their menu. Overall, the food is delicious!
Fox Son made one of the best corn dogs I've ever had! Everything was cooked perfectly, the batter was light but crispy and delicious, and the poutine was fantastic! If you're in the Reading Terminal Market, they should be at the top of your list.
Oh my! Celiac Nirvana! Gluten free corn dogs? Gluten free FUNNEL cake? All fries safe since everything is gluten free so no worry of cross contamination? Fancy and multiple topping options for everything? And nothing actually tastes specially gf? So sad I discovered this right before leaving town. I really wanted to try everything but didn't have time. Service was friendly and helpful. If you are in town, it is a must!
My 7 year old son who has Celiac Disease had never had funnel cake before we discovered Fox Son! I love that he can experience something as simple as funnel cake like the rest of us do. Have recommended and will continue to recommend you guys to all of our Celiac friends!
YESSSSS!!!! This celiac hasn’t had a corn dog or funnel cake in 5 years. And they are literally two of my favorite things. The classic corn dog here was amazing and fab fries and lemonade. Tomorrow I try the funnel cake and maybe another dog. Then I’ll need the gym but worth it.
