went with my nephews and they had a blast! they loved the kids cheese pizza and the pretzel hotdog lol. also, a woman took our picture and let us keep a copy for free, so we have that memory for a long time. loved that. good times. parking, however, is an egregious $30. was not happy about that. they did give us a $10 coupon right afterwards. but $20 is still way too much to park for a couple hours. What Christina Müller doesn't like about Dave Buster's Philadelphia:
Why even make a reservation? Made one HOURS before set time, still waited 45 EXTRA minutes to be sat and then another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The server saved our dinner- other than that just go for the games. View all feedback.
We were not greeted by anyone told where to go. When we arrived at the host stand two other staff members were fighting loudly and cursing at each other. The hostess sat us at the table right next to the argument when the large restaurant was completely empty. She could have put us literally anywhere. Another couple sat after us and finished eating their appetizers before anyone came to take our order and that was only after I asked somebody. On top of that the 2 arguing workers were floating around looking like they were ready to argue again. No, they were not fired on the spot! I wouldn't recommend.
I've waited a long time to bring our neck to the end.
I have been to Dave and Busters maybe 100+ times at this location and dozens of times at other locations. This was by far the very worst experience I have ever had here. Ever. It took 2 days, 14 tries to get someone on the phone and work out birthday arrangements. None of that mattered as when I arrived they took my $100 cake I was allowed to bring in and instead of going to the kitchen to come out as a surprise later they brought it to the table (BEHIND ME! and said cake arrived for you all that planning down the tubes. The menu is much smaller than it used to be, no problem. We ordered. The salad was inedible soggy, some gross pieces, served on a non salad weird plate, not at all what photos looked like. They were out of some things like many places. The drinks so much for coming for some of our favorites they were out or simply decided not to use the blenders today. Bummer major bummer. Then the lights and music and most tvs went out. Then the burning smell. Then being told some of the party had drinks and food but the rest couldn 't get them and the reason being they could still make them but couldn 't ring them up. No apologies or offers to make up for it. We had 2/3 of the table now with drinks while others had none. I went up and made a fuss with manager and they comped meal, brought out the last drinks, wouldn 't bring more food, but the only reason this is a 2 star vs. 1 star is after prodding and complaining they comped the check. But the tables around us not so lucky. Then the cake came out and I asked they sing/light candles, and even gave them candles. Nope! Brought it out in box, box candles on top, not lit up, no knife, no singing. Then brought a knife after some time. Then sped us along, closed game room and then encouraged us to leave. So recap: Out of drinks we wanted; sound/tv/half power out; messed up the cake TWICE; didn 't take care up us until made a fuss; and NO GAMES. My boyfriends birthday dinner was a disaster. Please do better.
At my reservation. One of my first had a baby with her and she put her baby down on the floor and a mouse ran across her baby. The service overall was poor. It was only one waiter and one bartender.
The food took over an hour and was cold. The lettuce in our salads were BROWN. My wings were wrong. Nachos were stale. It took 30 minutes to get Mayo for my burger when complaining to the manager I was told “it’s not that bad right?”
