I would rate this place 5/5 for the pizza, but the other dishes were quite disappointing (max 2/5), so overall, I'm giving it just 1 star since pizza is their specialty. I ordered the Johnny Hots pizza, and it was fantastic! The flavors were vibrant, and the crust was just the way I like it—chewy and fluffy. The peppers had a nice kick to them, and the pork was also enjoyable. However, I tried the hot chicken salad,... View all feedback.
What Ray L doesn't like about Clarkville:
This was the worst bowl of macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The cheese should be rich, toasted, creamy, and have a nice texture, but instead, it was watery, bland, and felt like it came straight out of a microwave in a huge bowl. And they charge $20 for it! The salad was tough and tasteless. I’d be better off making my own at home. View all feedback.
Delicious vegan cuisine with much more unique options I rarely find and phenomenal employees! There was a waiting time when we were there, but it was worth it. I know it's busy but it's obvious that employees are always on the move to provide excellent customer service and the food is something I can't find in a vegan version. Amazing turn on the bruschetta
I ordered the vegan white pie for takeout and specified I wanted the tofu ricotta the vegan mozzarella. I got home and noticed there was no vegan mozzarella on the pizza. I called and was told ?Oh sorry we?re out of vegan mozzarella.? Imagine a white pizza? with no cheese! There were a few dollops of the tofu ricotta which was extremely bland. On top of that, the pizza crust was as thin as a paper towel. The few toppings on the pizza heavily weighed it down when I picked up a slice. SMH. I asked why no one bothered to contact me and let me know and the person who answered just said ?Oh my bad.? I asked for a refund because this wasn?t what I ordered. I was told I?d get a call back tomorrow when the manager is in. Fine. The manager called the next day and told me I?d get a coupon to use on my next visit. I stated I preferred a refund which I told the previous guy who I spoke to the day before. The manager agreed and said ?Give it 5-7 business days for the refund to appear.? Cool. Here we are, 3 weeks later to the day, and still no refund. I?m not going to keep calling or showing up for my $15 back because it?s useless at this point. But they?ll never get my money again I highly suggest the vegan pizza eaters make them confirm they have all ingredients before ordering because they may not even bother to tell you :
Our experience at Clarkville was very confusing. We were quickly seated, but then neglected for the longest time before being approached again. Their menu offer some real eclectic varieties of pizzas; vegan options. We chose the Honey Pie and the Deluxe 5 Cheeses. Sadly, the HP came out massively burnt. We should of sent it back, but we were so hungry we ignored the charred crust. In spite of it, the flavor was so unique it won us over. After waiting a long wjile again, we inquired and learned they forgot our second pie. Fortunately, they hastily produced a perfectly baked pizza that helped us forget everything that went beforehand.
I?d give this a 5/5 for the pizza but the other dishes were disappointing (2/5 max) but 1 star only seeing as pizza is their main thing. I got the Johnny Hots pizza and that was excellent. Great flavors and the crust was perfect to my liking chewy and fluffy! The peppers were actually spicy (yay) and the pork was good too. I also got the hot chicken salad and that was pretty bad. Way too much dressing, very very greasy chicken, and absolutely NO spiciness. I?d go back for the pizza, for sure, but don?t get the hot chicken! My friends got the hot chicken sandwich and the sriracha honey pizza and they loved the pizza and said that the sandwich was ?good.?
Amazing place, lovely staff! I had the best cheese pizza ever! I absolutely loved everything about this place! The quality of food was amazing!
