What Shelly Nika doesn't like about Bistro Perrier:
The food was so disappointing. Salad was soggy and not well prepared. The chicken Cordon Bleu was over cooked, and the duck was mushy.. very disappointing dinner. Our server was very inapt. The restaurant itself is beautiful . Unfortunately, we will not return. View all feedback.
A slice of France amidst philly! The ambience is so nice with the decorations and everything, it reminded me of Paris. The service was great, friendly and helpful waiters and waitress. We had two appetisers of steak and snails , both of which were really good. Among the entrees, we tried the salmon and beef bourguignon. The salmon dish was very unique with lentils. The beef tasted good but was a little overcooked and chewy. The house cocktails made by the students were also really tasty as was the honey creme brulee. Thanks for the awesome hospitality and the complementary chocolate truffles. Definitely coming back again.
Romantic courtyard and very pleasant service by the restaurant-school students! nice but casual fine dining atmosphere. you will like the food if you are into the very classic french cuisine. the pino noir was fantastic! liked it a lot
A very unique dining experience, run by students and staff of the restaurant school. The dining area is designed to feel like a street in Paris and the cuisine follows suit. While the wait staff seems to be predominantly students still learning the finer points of the hospitality world, they are very accommodating and friendly. A great choice for a fine dining experience in University City.
We went here for my birthday and I found everything amazing right from the appetizers to the (to die for) desserts. I really loved the holiday decorations especially the huge gingerbread Eiffel Tower at the entrance. It's a cute place but, it's not huge so definitely make reservations before you go. You will not be disappointed. It is expensive like any fancy French restaurant but, I think it was worth it.
Philadelphia’s best french restaurant (sorry, Parc). Students demonstrated great poise in serving and entertaining our party of 18. For a large group, couldn’t ask for a better setting than the balcony. The ambiance is on a whole other level (pun intended). Will definitely come back
