This place had good reviews on Google Maps, so we came with a big company for dinner. We ordered mango shakes first, and that were the worst shakes in our entire journey : . After the first two shakes came and were not good we asked to add less ice, but it didn't help. Nobody in our company liked the shakes. So due to that we didn't order any food and went to another place on the beach instead. Also this place doesn't have toilet and sink with running water to wash hands. We were given complimentary shrimp chips while waiting for shakes, it was nice and staff is friendly.
Friendly staff, good cocktail. The appetizer chicken satay came after the main dish and was not that good (see picture) but the other dishes were good.Price a bit high compare to location to its distance to the beach.Toilet hand sink didn’t have running water but from a big barrel.
Don't understand the rave reviews. The restaurant was clean and service friendly. But the taste was westernised, zero spice level, massaman curry was bland, potatoes half cooked and utterly lacked the authentic taste of this southern Thailand dish.Price are very high. Over 200% mainland prices.
Good food! Prices for food a little higher than some places we have visited, however a big Chang is 100 baht and this is the cheapest we found on the island. We tried the chicken red curry and Thai basil chicken which were both great. We also tried the veg spring rolls which only really had glass noodles as the filling, no vegetables, so they were a little disappointing.
