Mama’s kitchen has been for many years and has a call for exactly what it is...A nice, small, no frills, family-run restaurant on the beach. I have eaten here some colors in the run of the years and always enjoyed my eating, as it seems, the general feedback for those who come here. it is small and no frills, as I mentioned earlier, but what they are no more than from the beautiful, quiet beach location and warm friendly they feel when they eat here!

Secluded restaurant, very friendly owner. We found this via google maps. Drove down for a drink but ended up staying the whole afternoon. We where offered mattress to use under the umbrella on the wonderful beach, and also use of their shower. Food and fruit juices where fabulous, will come again.

Mama’s kitchen is our favorite restaurant on this whole island! eating is cooked with best and always fresh ingredients. in everything that is served, I can taste the love that is used during cooking, they can really taste it! the whole family is involved in the business and that makes it a perfect experience for anyone who wants to taste Thai. and if they have asked to Thailand, they can ask and they get very valuable information. we have learned a lot! Dinner and watch the sun in the andaman sea is unique. they can eat spicy or less (European style) spicy, or they can enjoy several Thai dishes vegeterian if they want. drinks are also very delicious and fresh! pure joy!

It is small and No Frills as I mentioned earlier however what they are Not is more than made up by the nice, quiet beach side location and warm friendly feel you get when dining here. Enjoy!

Food nice and good service. But 15 mins walk from sunset beach resort which in full sunshine is a bit too much. Also prices here the same or for some foods and drinks more expensive than at sunset beach resort. Yes it's worth going here once for a change but honestly once is enough.
