Rec's Hushpuppie Heaven - Pflugerville

Wow! I would have taken a picture of my food, but as soon as I opened my takeout order, I couldn't think of anything else but DEVOURING it. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Sweet Potato Fries, and my partner got the catfish. We're already planning our next visit! I don't usually write reviews unless I'm really impressed, and let me tell you—this place is fantastic!

The catfish here is fantastic! The prices are on par with local competitors, but the portions are much larger. I visited for lunch and opted for takeout, and everything held up really well during the journey. The fish and fries arrived still piping hot and absolutely delicious. Great job to everyone at HPH!

Mark Rec's is truly a hidden gem! I've visited a few times, and their hush puppies are always creative and delicious. However, this past weekend, I tried their Loaded Seafood Fries and was absolutely amazed. I'm not a big fan of catfish and crawfish, but the picture looked so enticing that I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did—it's now going to be my go-to dish whenever I'm looking to indulge! Everything was cooked to perfection and was not at all greasy. Let's support our local restaurants!

OMG I had the Mac and cheese hush puppies (size of tennis balls) and they were delicious!!! Going back for the brisquit hush puppies soon! Catfish was great too. Highly recommend
