The selection of kolaches was amazing. You could try something different every day.of the month and still not have the same thing. I recommend coming early or warming them up when you get home. Otherwise would be a 5 star review. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lone Star Kolaches:
pretty terrible experience. the person that helps me was kind of rude. She has more of a posture than I came to the command. was not even offered a quitting when $21 for 6 kolaches the size of ping pong balls. barely found a meat in a brow egg. get their money worth on the road at shipley’s or even a gas station. Some of the best, qualitative kolaches are sold here, both in classic Czech and texan sorts. I regularly come here to a fairly cheap family breakfast

The ham ranchero kolaches was really good because it filled the bun completely and complimented the texture. Over all, however, I feel the recipe for the breading itself here is so moist and dense that it doesn't hold together well for the other kolaches we tried from sweet to savory the doughiness of the dough just overpowered everything and made us feel like we were just eating bread...
Kolache is good here! However, they?re a little lacking in customer service... I routinely say thank you, have a nice day, etc and am consistently met with blank stares and no response. I mean, they?re not RUDE but not particularly friendly.
I had a pretty terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff member who assisted me was quite rude and seemed more interested in her own attitude than in serving customers. I wasn't even offered a receipt after paying $21 for 6 kolaches that were only the size of ping pong balls. There was barely any meat in the brown egg. You’d definitely get better value for your money elsewhere, like at Shipley's or even a gas station.
